El tercer puesto fue para el Movimiento Reformista (MR, RE), partido liberal franc\u00f3fono dirigido por Georges-Louis Bouchez, que tambi\u00e9n tiene v\u00ednculos con el actual Presidente del Consejo Europeo, Charles Michel.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta ahora, el Gobierno estaba gobernado por Alexander De Croo y apoyado por la \u00abCoalici\u00f3n Vivaldi\u00bb: este curioso nombre derivaba del hecho de que en la coalici\u00f3n estaban presentes cuatro visiones pol\u00edticas diferentes, la de los liberales (MR y Open VLD), la de los socialistas (SP.A y PS), la de los verdes (Groen y Ecolo) y la de los democristianos (CD&amp;V). Sin embargo, esta amplia coalici\u00f3n obtuvo el 48,01% de los votos y 76 esca\u00f1os, cifras de por s\u00ed suficientes para mantener el Gobierno, pero insuficientes para garantizar la estabilidad, dados los numerosos sujetos pol\u00edticos y la escasa mayor\u00eda de los 150 parlamentarios previstos por el sistema belga.<\/p>\n<p>El Primer Ministro belga De Croo felicit\u00f3 a los ganadores y anunci\u00f3 su dimisi\u00f3n. Ahora se centra en ocuparse de los asuntos de actualidad y facilitar la transici\u00f3n a un nuevo gobierno, en el que se espera que los liberales desempe\u00f1en un papel clave. El rey Felipe acept\u00f3 su dimisi\u00f3n y posteriormente invit\u00f3 a los l\u00edderes de N-VA, VB y MR al Palacio Real de Bruselas.<\/p>\n<p>Los objetivos, ahora, son muy diferentes entre las distintas fuerzas pol\u00edticas: los liberales aspiran a redescubrir la compacidad y la unidad incluso a costa de la alianza con la izquierda, basta con ver las declaraciones de Bouchez que afirm\u00f3 que \u00abla izquierda alaba la democracia cuando da los resultados que le convienen\u00bb, reiter\u00f3 que s\u00f3lo los liberales han puesto sobre la mesa las preocupaciones de los ciudadanos y que el trabajo responsable comienza ahora; De Wever tiene la oportunidad de construir un centro-derecha en torno a su partido que pueda valorizar la identidad flamenca y las ventajas del federalismo belga sin renunciar a una vocaci\u00f3n europe\u00edsta; Vlaams Belang, en cambio, pretende mejorar al m\u00e1ximo el resultado en territorio flamenco para subir cada vez m\u00e1s la apuesta.<\/p>\n<p>Es dif\u00edcil decir ahora qui\u00e9n podr\u00eda hacerse con el Gobierno, aunque no se puede descartar una coalici\u00f3n que incluya a los Liberales, los Dem\u00f3crata-Cristianos y la N-VA, que llegar\u00eda a 76 de 150. Un resultado que simplemente representar\u00eda la historia, superando a\u00f1os de gobiernos \u00abde amplios acuerdos\u00bb y trabajando por fin en un aut\u00e9ntico centro-derecha belga.<\/p>\n<p>Al mismo tiempo, se celebraron las elecciones europeas, en las que \u00abgan\u00f3\u00bb el Vlaams Belang con el 14,5% y 3 esca\u00f1os, seguido del N-VA con el 14% y 3 esca\u00f1os y del MR con el 13% y tambi\u00e9n 3 esca\u00f1os. El Partido Laborista Belga (PTB-PVDA, GUE\/NGL) se hizo fuerte con un 11% y 2 esca\u00f1os. La mayor ca\u00edda la registraron las formaciones verdes, ya que Groen y Ecolo obtuvieron juntos s\u00f3lo un 10%, frente al 15% de hace cinco a\u00f1os, y un esca\u00f1o menos.
