Los <em data-start=\"365\" data-end=\"391\">Premios Margaret Thatcher <\/em>se convirtieron en una declaraci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica por derecho propio: una reafirmaci\u00f3n del conservadurismo europeo como proyecto ideol\u00f3gico con poder, identidad y continuidad hist\u00f3rica. La elecci\u00f3n de la capital italiana, y la presencia de la Primera Ministra Giorgia Meloni, fueron cualquier cosa menos accidentales.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"1305\">Organizado por Nueva Direcci\u00f3n -la fundaci\u00f3n del Grupo de Conservadores y Reformistas Europeos (ECR)-, el acto coincidi\u00f3 con el centenario del nacimiento de Margaret Thatcher. Como patrona fundadora de la fundaci\u00f3n y figura central del conservadurismo moderno, el legado de Thatcher constituy\u00f3 la columna vertebral intelectual y simb\u00f3lica de la velada. Sin embargo, no se trataba de un ejercicio de nostalgia. Ella encarna una concepci\u00f3n del poder pol\u00edtico arraigada en la convicci\u00f3n, la responsabilidad individual y la primac\u00eda de la naci\u00f3n como lugar de toma de decisiones democr\u00e1ticas. En un contexto europeo marcado por la erosi\u00f3n de la soberan\u00eda, la fragmentaci\u00f3n cultural y el agotamiento del consenso progresista-liberal, el thatcherismo resurge como punto de referencia intelectual y moral.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1796\" data-end=\"2216\">Este mensaje fue explicitado por Giorgia Meloni en su discurso de apertura. La Primera Ministra italiana argument\u00f3 que, en un mundo que intenta vaciar de identidad a las sociedades, s\u00f3lo las convicciones firmes son capaces de resistir la presi\u00f3n. Sus observaciones fueron ampliamente recibidas como una defensa del conservadurismo no s\u00f3lo como ideolog\u00eda, sino como postura pol\u00edtica: claridad moral, coherencia y voluntad de confrontaci\u00f3n cultural.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2454\">Para muchos dentro del ecosistema conservador, Meloni representa ahora una traducci\u00f3n contempor\u00e1nea del legado de Thatcher: un liderazgo fuerte, una ret\u00f3rica sin disculpas y la determinaci\u00f3n de disputar la hegemon\u00eda cultural, no s\u00f3lo el poder institucional.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2456\" data-end=\"2494\">Una amplia constelaci\u00f3n conservadora<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2496\" data-end=\"2868\">La diversidad de los galardonados de este a\u00f1o ilustr\u00f3 la amplitud -y la ambici\u00f3n- del ecosistema conservador que Nueva Direcci\u00f3n pretende consolidar. Junto a l\u00edderes pol\u00edticos como Meloni y figuras destacadas del conservadurismo brit\u00e1nico como Michael Gove, la ceremonia reconoci\u00f3 a intelectuales, actores culturales y l\u00edderes c\u00edvicos de muy diversa procedencia. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2870\" data-end=\"3381\">El fil\u00f3sofo franc\u00e9s R\u00e9mi Brague simboliz\u00f3 la vertiente intelectual del conservadurismo europeo preocupada por los fundamentos culturales y espirituales del continente. Neal McDonough y Neal Harmon, activos en el cine y los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n, destacaron la creciente conciencia de que las batallas pol\u00edticas tambi\u00e9n se libran en la esfera cultural y dentro de las industrias creativas. Mientras tanto, la presencia de Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya subray\u00f3 la dimensi\u00f3n internacional del compromiso conservador con la libertad, la democracia y el Estado de derecho.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3383\" data-end=\"3601\">En conjunto, estos perfiles apuntan a un claro objetivo estrat\u00e9gico: construir un conservadurismo europeo que vaya m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la pol\u00edtica parlamentaria, abarcando las ideas, la cultura, el activismo c\u00edvico y la influencia internacional.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3603\" data-end=\"3644\">Spain and the Reformist European Axis<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3646\" data-end=\"4012\">La participaci\u00f3n de los eurodiputados espa\u00f1oles de ECR Diego Solier y Nora Junco subray\u00f3 la creciente integraci\u00f3n de Espa\u00f1a en este espacio conservador europeo en evoluci\u00f3n. Ambos eurodiputados tambi\u00e9n participaron activamente en las <em data-start=\"3869\" data-end=\"3885\">Jornadas de Estudio de ECR<\/em> los d\u00edas previos a la gala de la Nueva Direcci\u00f3n y muestran el inicio de un ecosistema pol\u00edtico alineado con ECR en Espa\u00f1a, junto con una pl\u00e9tora de organizaciones de la sociedad civil que operan dentro del mismo marco basado en principios. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4014\" data-end=\"4355\">Sus declaraciones durante la velada hicieron hincapi\u00e9 en valores como la responsabilidad, el esfuerzo y la libertad como piedras angulares del proyecto europeo reformista.
