{"id":32729,"date":"2024-08-27T16:22:35","date_gmt":"2024-08-27T16:22:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theconservative.online\/jordbruket-som-motor-for-europeisk-livsmedelssuveranitet"},"modified":"2024-08-27T16:22:35","modified_gmt":"2024-08-27T16:22:35","slug":"jordbruket-som-motor-for-europeisk-livsmedelssuveranitet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theconservative.online\/sv\/jordbruket-som-motor-for-europeisk-livsmedelssuveranitet","title":{"rendered":"Jordbruket som motor f\u00f6r europeisk livsmedelssuver\u00e4nitet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Under de senaste veckorna har det publicerats en studie utf\u00f6rd av ECR-partiet med titeln  <em>Att balansera ambition och verklighet.<br \/>\nEn nykter granskning av utmaningarna i EU:s gr\u00f6na omst\u00e4llning <\/em>.<br \/>\nThis research aims to bring the debate on the green transition back within a realistic and objective path, based on facts and on the political, economic and industrial reality of the European Union.<br \/>\nA path that can under no circumstances disregard the interests of the agricultural sector and the expectations of the many farmers that make up the economic fabric of the European Union.<br \/>\nThe \u201csobriety\u201d of the analysis in the study is precisely what is needed to address the many problems that this sector has been dragging along for decades.<br \/>\nFARMERS AS CUSTODIANS What must finally reach the chancelleries and the European institutions is the notion that the true guardians of our environment and food sovereignty are not politicians or legislators, but rather the farmers of the European Union.<br \/>\nMore than any other sector, it is agriculture that is the pillar on which to base a future European food sovereignty sheltered from climate crises and international market fluctuations.<br \/>\nUnfortunately, among the enemies of this honourable objective, would seem to be also the European \u201cGreen Deal\u201d which could target precisely the agricultural sector.<br \/>\nIt denies the fundamental role of farmers in preserving the land, a role that ensures quality in production and enhances culture and traditions in rural areas.<br \/>\nCarrying forward a concept, unfortunately too deeply rooted in the European institutions, that sees farmers as a problem.<br \/>\nThe hope instead is that this paradigm will be overturned, with the awareness that we have great resources in front of us in the fight against the climate crisis.<br \/>\nThe link with the land must be confirmed and enhanced together with agriculture, as protecting excellence and production necessarily leads to the growth of the cultural heritage and the protection of the territories: all functions that the European Union&#8217;s policies must be ready to enhance and not to weaken.<br \/>\nA COMMON AGRICULTURAL POLICY TO BE REVIEWED If we really want to reform the sector, we must have the courage to get our hands on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) with the intention of removing all those regulations that aim at the gradual reduction of cultivated areas and that directly affect farmers&#8217; income.<br \/>\nAt the same time, Member States must be put in a position to influence agricultural policies, e.g. by increasing the EU limits set for state aid to the sector, as well as introducing a debt moratorium to give farmers breathing space.<br \/>\nAt the same time, in the same vein, it is necessary to revise the so-called \u201cNature Restoration\u201d rule, which stipulates, as a general objective, that Member States should take restoration measures in at least 20 per cent of the EU&#8217;s land areas.<br \/>\nA revision of this objective is necessary to avoid further penalising agriculture and farming.<br \/>\nSYNTHETIC IS NOT NATURAL A crucial point is the protection of the concept of \u201cnatural\u201d as a shield against the introduction of synthetic elements in the production and nutrition of EU citizens.<br \/>\nThe battle against the production and marketing of synthetic food, especially meat, is a battle that must be continued.<br \/>\nWith it, however &#8211; and the aim is for these two struggles to continue in unison &#8211; animal welfare disciplines must be improved and extended, especially with regard to livestock farming.<br \/>\nLABELS AND MARKET RECIPROCITY A strong stop must be given to all regulations that, in one way or another, penalise the excellence of our agriculture.                   Det mest konkreta exemplet \u00e4r &#8221;Nutriscore&#8221; tillsammans med det obligatoriska inf\u00f6randet av n\u00e4ringsv\u00e4rdesm\u00e4rkningssystem f\u00f6r livsmedelsprodukter.<br \/>\nBland de mest sl\u00e5ende fallen \u00e4r det som r\u00f6r vinsektorn, d\u00e4r man vill att flaskorna ska m\u00e4rkas med uppgifter om att enbart konsumtionen av produkterna \u00e4r skadlig f\u00f6r h\u00e4lsan.<br \/>\nDetta \u00e4r n\u00e5got som kr\u00e4ver f\u00f6rsiktighet, s\u00e4rskilt i en sektor som varje \u00e5r har en s\u00e5 stark inverkan p\u00e5 medlemsstaternas ekonomier och som syssels\u00e4tter s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga yrkesverksamma i hela EU.<br \/>\nSlutligen, fortfarande p\u00e5 regelfronten, m\u00e5ste en enkel och mycket viktig princip genomf\u00f6ras: \u00f6msesidighetsprincipen.<br \/>\n\u00d6ppnandet av v\u00e5r inre marknad f\u00f6r produktioner som inte kommer fr\u00e5n medlemsstaterna kan accepteras, men bara om de respekterar de sociala och milj\u00f6m\u00e4ssiga standarder som kr\u00e4vs av v\u00e5ra producenter.    <\/p>\n<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Under de senaste veckorna har det publicerats en studie utf\u00f6rd av ECR-partiet med titeln Att balansera ambition och verklighet.
