Utst\u00e4llningen, som \u00f6ppnade i b\u00f6rjan av december och p\u00e5g\u00e5r till den 28 februari, har f\u00e5tt starkt st\u00f6d av Italiens tidigare kulturminister Gennaro Sangiuliano och har drivits vidare av den nuvarande ministern Alessandro Giuli. Den lyfter fram Italiens betydelsefulla roll i formandet av globala avantgarder\u00f6relser genom futurismen. En omistlig m\u00f6jlighet f\u00f6r alla som bes\u00f6ker den italienska huvudstaden att uppt\u00e4cka vilka futuristerna var, vad de \u00e5stadkom och hur deras id\u00e9er forts\u00e4tter att inspirera kreativa visioner idag. &#8221;Utst\u00e4llningen hyllar den innovativa inverkan som den futuristiska r\u00f6relsen har haft i Italien och i hela Europa. Denna utst\u00e4llning&#8221;, s\u00e4ger Federico Mollicone, ordf\u00f6rande i deputeradekammarens kulturkommission, &#8221;kommer att g\u00e5 till historien p\u00e5 grund av det stora antalet verk och internationella l\u00e5ngivare. Med futurismen blir konsten total och bryter sig loss fr\u00e5n dukens begr\u00e4nsningar f\u00f6r att ta sig in i det dagliga livet och korsa en v\u00e4rld d\u00e4r &#8221;allt r\u00f6r sig, allt springer, allt f\u00f6r\u00e4ndras snabbt&#8221;. Resan b\u00f6rjar p\u00e5 framsidan av den franska tidningen <em>Le Figaro<\/em>, d\u00e4r r\u00f6relsens manifest publicerades den 20 februari 1909 under rubriken <em>&#8221;Le Futurisme&#8221;<\/em>. Marinetti lyckades f\u00e5 manifestet publicerat genom en list: han blev f\u00f6r\u00e4lskad &#8211; eller snarare l\u00e5tsades bli f\u00f6r\u00e4lskad &#8211; i dottern till tidningens del\u00e4gare, en f\u00f6rm\u00f6gen egyptier. Manifestets elva punkter upph\u00f6jer k\u00e4rleken till faran, upproret som en v\u00e4sentlig del av poesin och inneh\u00e5ller mer kontroversiella id\u00e9er, som f\u00f6rakt f\u00f6r kvinnor. P\u00e5 dessa sidor prioriteras racerbilen framf\u00f6r den bevingade segern fr\u00e5n Samothrake. Fart, fart, fart blir synonymt med framtiden, och m\u00e5let \u00e4r att f\u00f6rst\u00f6ra museer, bibliotek och akademier, som ses som symboler f\u00f6r det f\u00f6rflutna. Vid sidan av manifestet i samma rum st\u00e5r passande nog en eldr\u00f6d Maserati, den fr\u00e4msta symbolen f\u00f6r r\u00f6relsens tidiga fas. Men utst\u00e4llningen g\u00e5r l\u00e4ngre \u00e4n till manifest f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rklara futurismens v\u00e4sen. Det handlar i f\u00f6rsta hand om bilder och m\u00e5lningar. Giacomo Ballas &#8221; <em>The Arc Lamp&#8221;<\/em> \u00e4r en hyllning till manifestet <em>&#8221;Let&#8217;s Kill the Moonlight&#8221;:<\/em> en gatlykta som lyser upp natten mer intensivt \u00e4n m\u00e5nen sj\u00e4lv. Bes\u00f6karna kan ocks\u00e5 beundra portr\u00e4ttet av Marinetti med titeln <em>&#8221;Soleil&#8221;,<\/em> skapat av den futuristiska konstn\u00e4ren Rougena Zatkova, och en hyllning till Marconi med hans uppfinningar, som symboliserar viljan att f\u00f6r\u00e4ndra m\u00e4nniskans dagliga liv. &#8221;M\u00e5nga av den tidens litter\u00e4ra figurer tittade n\u00e5gon annanstans och f\u00f6rpassade industrialiseringen till bakgrunden, medan futuristerna&#8221;, f\u00f6rklarar Mollicone, &#8221;var de enda som f\u00f6rstod detta epokg\u00f6rande \u00f6gonblick. I dag, n\u00e4r vi f\u00f6ljer deras exempel och i ljuset av den fj\u00e4rde revolutionen &#8211; den digitala &#8211; m\u00e5ste vi ta oss an nya utmaningar f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rvalta dem och g\u00f6ra dem till en resurs f\u00f6r m\u00e4nskligheten och framtiden.&#8221; GNAM f\u00f6rvandlas till en hangar med ett stort r\u00f6tt sj\u00f6flygplan och 350 verk fr\u00e5n hela v\u00e4rlden.<\/p>\n<p> Bland m\u00e5lningarna med motiv fr\u00e5n himlen och hj\u00e4ltemod sticker Tullio Cralis <em>&#8221;Innan fallsk\u00e4rmen \u00f6ppnas&#8221;<\/em> ut. Vid sidan av ber\u00f6mda konstn\u00e4rer som Giacomo Balla och Umberto Boccioni \u00e5teruppt\u00e4cks mindre k\u00e4nda personer som Fortunato Depero. Litter\u00e4ra manifest blandas med m\u00e5lningar, framsteg sammanfl\u00e4tas med bevarande och reklam blir ett medel f\u00f6r att tr\u00e4nga in i samh\u00e4llet. &#8221;Vi ska tillsammans uppfinna det som jag kallar tr\u00e5dl\u00f6s fantasi [&#8230;] F\u00f6r att uppn\u00e5 detta m\u00e5ste man ge upp att bli f\u00f6rst\u00e5dd. Att bli f\u00f6rst\u00e5dd \u00e4r on\u00f6digt. Vi har ju trots allt klarat oss utan det&#8230;&#8221; skrev Marinetti. Och han hade r\u00e4tt. Futuristerna gav upp att bli f\u00f6rst\u00e5dda men upph\u00f6rde aldrig att bli ih\u00e5gkomna.
