Gender Pay Gap discussed in the Plenary session in Strasbourg. ECR Supporting Motherhood and Family

The gender pay gap, the difference in pay between men and women, was discussed in the Strasbourg plenary session. For ECR Group, the strategy to address the gap is to support motherhood and families. Speakers in the debate included Elena Donazzan, Antonella Sberna, Adrian-George Axinia and Sebastian Tynkkynen. “A mother who works with peace of mind is a more accomplished woman and is an priceless social asset,” said Donazzan. “Supporting families makes society as a whole more just and sustainable, because the existing gap stems from demographic imbalances that we must reverse with absolute urgency,” added Sberna.
