Pro-migration propaganda through globalist-liberal media is not an exception. Not by far. Actually, it has become the norm. It occurs on a constant basis, in a quite coordinated manner, through agents of influence and narratives that are more or less obvious. Let’s be blunt, it is a form of ongoing aggression.
A specific case. A television story broadcast by one of Romania’s mainstream TV stations went viral on social media. Not as a positive example, but quite the opposite.
Starting from the information that the average age of Romania’s population has reached 45, which is above the European average, the “only chance” for demographic recovery would be migrants who arrive and settle here. The same news item quotes a Romanian sociologist who optimistically announced that migrants will procreate on Romanian territory, either with spouses from their own countries or with Romanian women. This is also, in the author’s view, the only way to “save” Western Europe.
Here is the information delivered to the Romanian public in a prime-time news program: migrants are the ONLY answer to the profound demographic crisis facing Romania. There can be no talk of public policies to stimulate birth rates or support families when the solution has been firmly expressed, right?
Perhaps what is most striking is the singularity of this “opportunity,” as it has been described, and the deliberate omission of real solutions to overcome this crisis. In fact, this blatant manipulation serves this very purpose: migrants are the only way to reverse the demographic decline.
Beyond the extremely biased manner in which the situation is presented, this crisis is very dangerous for our future and our own survival. Some data are conclusive: over 20% of Romanians are over 65 years old, with accelerated aging being an increasingly obvious phenomenon; in 2025, only 145,000 babies were born, four times fewer newborns than a hundred years ago, which is the lowest birth rate in the last century. According to information from the Romanian Institute of Statistics, negative natural growth has been a constant and alarming feature of the last thirty-five years, with 1991 being the last year to see positive natural growth.
The predictions for the coming decades are even more grim. By 2080, Romania’s population could drop to 14.3 million, down from just over 19 million today, which would mean a decrease of almost a quarter. In the optimistic scenario, the decline would be “only” two million, representing approximately 10% of the current population. In either scenario, at this rate and without firm public policies, Romania’s population will continue to decline dramatically.
We are not talking exclusively about a numerical issue; the persistent decline in population is actual a real threat to national sovereignty. When you encourage the arrival and settlement of migrants, to the detriment of your own population, the economy will become dependent on foreign labor, and national identity will cease to be national identity.
Far from being a single country phenomenon, this crisis characterizes the entire European continent, which is facing a huge deficit of births compared to deaths.
We will not list here the numerous causes of demographic decline, including the mentality, which is different today from that of the preceding generation. This decline, which threatens the very existence of this people, requires urgent and realistic solutions, for which strong political will is needed.
As clichéd as it may sound, the implementation of pro-natalist fiscal policies is an absolute necessity. This must be accompanied by educational measures to change a self-destructive mindset and bring us back on track. No effort is too small to ensure that the country’s population remains in the country and that compatriots who have left “in search of a better life” beyond the country’s borders are persuaded to return home. It is not a matter of principle, but much more than that: a matter of survival.
Instead of coming up with real solutions to overcome the demographic winter and reverse the catastrophic trend, the replacement of the native population with immigrants is being openly promoted. In Brussels, only one in 10 children has parents who are both of Belgian origin. It’s a statistic that gives one chills down the spine.
